Orange ghouls?

Some GW ghouls I am working on for a team mate. He wanted it to be themey, since his CH are also orange.

Completed July painting pledge for Ogrestronghold

Looking back at my pledge made at the start of July on the Ogre Stronghold forum, I amaze myself on how much ground I covered this month.

60 gnoblars, 4 MFC and basing 8 IGs. Now, my ETC army is complete and ready for spilling blood at ETC.

Really happy that I found miniNatur. The clumps of grass really adds a lot of detail to the base and ups the beauty factor of the overall model.

Torn between VC, LM and Tomb Kings now... I am leaning towards finishing my Tomb King army so that I can have two fully painted armies I can play with.

Finally finished my ETC army

After 3 months of hard work, I have finally finished my OK army which I will be bringing to ETC in August.

The last piece of the puzzle are these 4 clowns. Love the work on these and very pleased. Pleased that I also managed to master the spray-on technique for Matt coating to prevent dusting/frosting.

Updates for The week...

Had a relatively slow week. Painted up two of my ogre MFC riders. While painting, had a red gore paint explosion and spent the afternoon painting dice pips o the GW dice instead.

Also came into possession of a second hand stone horn kit an ended up assembling that on Sunday. Did a rock slate custom base for him since that base is huge.

More gnoblars!!

Got some paint unto the metals and some of the other details. Once I managed to paint the caps, it'll be dip them time!

While waiting on dip time, it'll be basing for the previous 20.

More WIP - gnoblars and mournfang

Managed to matt coate my finished gnoblar and mournfang over the weekend. Kinda disappointed that my krylon matt spray always ends up frosting. Have to rely on my Mr Glossy to reverse the process. Also almost completed base of my Ironguts.

Started on next batch of gnoblars fighters and these are super easy to paint, as compared to the gnoblar "companions" that came with the ogre sprue.

Painters elbow...

Damn.. Suffering from a bout of "painters" elbow... Feel sore In my elbow from too much painting.. Anyway, some pictures of my gnoblars as well as dipped pictures of my MFC.

Went to scrutinize my completed ironguts and found some fucked up signs of dipping and Matt coating ad well. I was particularly upset that one of the fucked up ones was the musician.. Can't figure out what I done wrong but it looks like the interaction between dipping and coating went bad. Might have to redo it.. But after etc
