BSB completed!

He is finally done. Not quite satisfied as I screwed up o the dip and made the entire miniature look dark.

Still, I am very happy with the eyes as well as the banner. Sadly, his completion also marks the temporary cessation of painting till end of my exams.

BSB still WIP

BSB still in progress. Picture shown is before dipping and matt coat.

First attempt at freehand banner painting and screwed it up pretty bad. Turned out absolutely different from my imagination. Drew the "maw" too small as well so added the 2nd mountain symbol below.

Turns out overall the banner looks good.

Last picture shows him after applying dip but seems to be over done.

BSB WIP

Pictures of my BSB at the moment. Primed black and dusted white.

Managed to do a rope thing using green stuff to cover the conversion I did for the flag pole.

Slaughtermaster Done!

Finally finished with my SM. now I see why there is so much blood gore on other people's minis. It's addictive to throw that stuff on.

Next up. BSB!!!

WIP Slaughtermaster and BSB

Some pictures of my SM and BSB.

SM base coated with Tallarn Flesh and they light layer of rotting flesh to pale the skin. Apron and pants painted Deneb stone, as per advice I seen on Ogre Stronghold. End up that the skin and apron/pants color look very close. Let's see what the result will be after dipping.

Opted for a simple conversion for BSB by just swapping the hammer head for a banner stand from minotaurs. Not very satisfied with the join though... Thinking of how that can be improved.

MPG painted maneaters

Managed to snipe a painted maneater online for us$15.50. Plus 12 bucks shipping, total cost is the same as NIB. Can't get better than that.

Mini came in couple of days back. Not bad I must say. They have a way of painting that makes the color "pop" out instead of what I am able to do.
